Inspired by the Indian drink, this high-protein mango lassi smoothie is the perfect fuel for your busy day! Made with juicy frozen mangoes, creamy Greek-style yogurt and nutrient-packed hemp seeds, it’s packed with protein to keep you full and energized. It’s perfect for breakfast, post-workout recovery or a refreshing snack.

Ingredients

  • 1 pitted dried date
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • ¼ cup whole-milk plain strained (greek-style) yogurt
  • 1 cup frozen mango chunks
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 1½ tablespoons hulled hemp seeds, divided

Directions

  1. Place 1 date, 1 cup milk, ¼ cup yogurt, 1 cup frozen mango, ¼ teaspoon cardamom and 1 tablespoon hemp seeds in a blender. Process until smooth, about 1 minute, stopping to scrape down sides as needed.
  2. Pour the smoothie into a glass; top with the remaining ½ tablespoon hemp seeds.
