Drescription

French fries is a favourite snack or side, right? I guess most of you would say yes to that. Loaded fries in air fryer are even more sinful and perfect for an indulgence. My teen loves it.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. french fries
  • 1 cup cheddar and mozzarella
  • 1 scallion chopped
  • ½ small onion chopped
  • ½ tomato chopped
  • 2 tbsp. olives slices
  • 1 tbsp. pickled jalapeños
  • 1 tbsp. sriracha sauce for drizzling optional
  • ½ tsp. pepper
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • optionals
  • guacamole salsa, canned beans, sour cream

Directions

  1. First part of the recipe is in making French fries in air fryer. Try this recipe to make air fryer French fries from scratch. If like me, you are using frozen French fries, then just take frozen fries in air fryer, toss with salt and pepper.
  2. Use silicone mat/parchment paper to line the air fryer basket. Lay French fries on top. I air fried 1 lb. fries for 16-17 minutes at 200C or 390F till they were golden and crispy.
  3. Meanwhile, assemble all the toppings. Chop all the veggies you are using. Cut scallions into whites and greens. Also chop peppers, tomatoes and onions and keep aside.
  4. Take olives and jalapeños in a bowl. Take shredded cheese in a bowl. If using sour cream, salsa and guacamole, take them out as well.
  5. I also used Sriracha sauce because I love extra heat. It is optional.
  6. Once the fries are done, top them generously with cheese. Air fry at 360F or 180C for about 3 minutes till the cheese is bubbly and has melted.
  7. Take out your cheesy fries, top with the toppings you are are using like chopped veggies, jalapeños and olives and serve with optional dips like drizzled sour cream, guacamole and salsa.
  8. Your delightful loaded fries in air fryer are done. Absolutely amazing in taste. Serve them hot.
