Episode 5 – Having the right attitude about exercise

This week I talk about having the right attitude about exercise. Some of us exercise to to punish ourselves or think we can hate ourselves thin, but this is not true. Let’s change our thoughts so we exercise because we love our bodies and want them to function properly for a long time and it is good for our mental and emotional health. Let’s find a compelling reason for physical activity and then find a fun way to stay in shape and get some exercise. I start by answering a listener question about how we can know if a friend is struggling with depression and what we can do to help. The we discuss great reasons to exercise and how we can have a positive impact our our environment by changing our thoughts about it. I hope you enjoy this episode!
