Today we continuing our conversation with interracial couple Katelyn and Kelvin Belser. They met each other at church 14 years ago. But when they developed feelings for each other, and Katelyn’s family found out, they were forced to break up. They had to end their relationship and had zero contact for over a year.
However, when their paths crossed again, they could not ignore the spark they felt for each other. They believe, that when you truly love someone, you have to fight for that love. These two have an inspiring mindset about their journey and the struggles they have had to overcome. Coming from different cultural backgrounds, having different role models of healthy marriages, losing a parent to cancer and dealing with the lack of support from her family – has not torn them apart, but instead made them stronger together.
You do not want to miss this episode as these two might be young, but they are wise beyond their years. Their faith is strong, and their love for each other is even stronger.
Today we are talking with an amazing couple, Jáchym Jerie and Natasha Koo all the way from Malaysia. They are the Founders of YourExceptionalRelationship.com. Jáchym and Natasha have worked with people all over the world and created the Exceptional Relationship Formula, which takes away the guess work and puts your marriage back on track for more intimacy, love, and connection.
In the last two years they have traveled all over the world and living in different countries for months at a time, working and just being together. They have noticed one common thread that can affect your relationship and it is the culture. Whether you are trying to define your role within your partnership, or you are just learning how to date with respect to what is surrounding you. They encourage everyone to learn what they want from their relationship and express that with their partners.
Do you want an exceptional relationship?? Jáchym and Natasha have transformed their relationship past the nagging, hurtful moments to the blessed happiness they have now. All by identifying what is causing the unhappiness and the hard conversations that help no one. What comes after the honeymoon can be greater than anything else just by pushing you and your partner to get out of the rut you are in and listening to what is really happening in front of you!

My guest today is my good friend, Jessica Frew, who is a wife, ex-wife, mom, and step-mom. We are talking about the challenges she has faced and how she has come out of them even stronger. She talks about her two marriages and how she, her husband and her ex started a podcast together called, Husband in Law. They discuss how they have created a healthy family and working relationship with each other and how they have chosen to show up for their daughter!
She talks about how to keep fighting even when life deals you a seemingly impossible hand, and how feeling love, respect and safety with your spouse can truly create that emotional and intimate connection we all long for. With this beautiful connection, couples are able to express themselves and be vulnerable and share those parts of themselves with each other that otherwise might feel uncomfortable.
In her practice, she helps women understand that they are worthy as they are and to stop selling themselves short. She talks about the importance of understanding your self worth and taking ownership of any situation you’re given in life to start showing up as the person you want to be. Once you understand this concept, it doesn’t matter what anyone else does or thinks!
